For 22 years, the Arizona Cowboy Poets Gathering features great cowboy poets and musicians from Arizona and other parts of the Southwest who gather together in Prescott to preserve the culture and heritage of the American West.   These men and woman are now or have been in the past a part of the working cowboy enviroment and workplace. 

The festival is held at the Yavapai College campus beginning noon Friday through Saturday with concurrent sessions at eight free outdoor venues throughout the campus.  Friday and Saturday night concerts will be held in the Performing Arts Center at the college.
