Good morning, AABBI members.

I am pleased to report that Grand Living Bed and Breakfast in Williams is featured in the current March/April edition of AAA Highroads Magazine.

I was telling Grand Living innkeepers, Bill and Gloria Job, that when the Royal Elizabeth was featured in Highroads a few years ago, it resulted in a substantial amount of in-state business for our inn.  We also found that subscribers would hold on to their copies of Highroads for years to help remind them of the attractions and inns that were featured.  It has always seemed to us to be a useful publication that travelers actually consult.

It's looking as though in-state travel may be the life-blood for the hospitality industry in Arizona this summer and autumn, as fewer overall guests are spending the time and money to fly from afar.  It's my sense that B&Bs are wise to promote ourselves, even more than ever, to the driving-distance market.

Congrats to Grand Living and thanks to Highroads for continuing to recognize AABBI member inns so prominently in their publication.
