Legacies is located in the town of Williams,"The Gateway to the Grand Canyon", and home to the Grand Canyon Railway.
The 5000 square foot home has a lovely curved oak stairway leading from the foyer to one guest room upstairs. At the top of the stairs is a sitting area overlooking the great room which has a 17' ceiling. An inviting stone fireplace and raised hearth enhance the great room.Two rooms are in a separate wing on the first level.

An elegant, spacious suite with a raised king-size bed surrounded by pillars and a canopy. The double doors open into a relaxing sitting area complete with a mood inspiring fireplace, a love seat and writing desk. HD TV! The suite has a unique bath for two, with double shower and illuminated whirlpool bath for 2.

Get your kicks on Route 66! In the tastefully decorated nostalgia room you can visit the 50's and 60's, a time of vintage cars, malted milk shakes and diners. King-size bed,large sitting area, complete with fireplace.Private bath-and illuminated 2 person Whirlpool tub! Sleeper chair allows for third person ($35 extra on room rate)

TOURIST ATTRACTIONS
Legacies Bed and Breakfast is situated in a ponderosa pine forest of Northern Arizona, in Coconino County. Historic Route 66 travels through Williams. The Grand Canyon Railroad is minutes from our front door and provides daily excursions to the Canyon's 6,800-foot south rim. Or just take your car and drive in less than an hour to the Grand Canyon.
Sedona, Oak Creek Canyon and Jerome are a short hour away. In less than 2 hours, visitors can travel to Peach Springs, where the scenic road to the West Grand Canyon begins and ends at the Colorado River. Part of this road trip is on historic Route 66. Meteor Crater, Sunset Crater and Walnut Canyon are a bit more than a 1- hour trip. Flagstaff is a half hour away, via I 40, where visitors enjoy the highest elevation in Arizona, the San Francisco Peaks, and Lowell Observatory. Las Vegas is an easy, about 3 1/2 hour trip!

A 72- hour cancellation notice is routinely required. 10 day cancel policy during peak season, Holidays or Special Events-a 15 day cancellation notice applies.Visits of 4 days or more-a 15 day cancellation notice applies and a deposit of half lodging costs (30 days prior to arrival). A $25.00 administration fee is charged on each room booked and cancelled.

DIRECTIONS

FROM THE EAST: Traveling west on I 40 take exit 165 into Williams. Turn left at end of exit and continue into town where Arizona #64 becomes Route 66.

FROM THE WEST: Traveling east on I 40 take exit 161 into Williams. Turn right and travel east on Route 66.

FROM PHOENIX: Travel on I 17 North to Flagstaff and get on I 40 West towards Williams.

ONCE IN WILLIAMS: Traveling on Route 66, turn on 9th Street between Motel 6 and the Family Dollar Store. Travel to stop sign and turn right on Sherman Avenue. Go 2 blocks to 11th Street and turn left, Legacies is 4th house on the right.
